WEDDING DAY FAQ & PRICING GUIDE
When the cake has been eaten, the dress put away, and the wedding gifts have been opened, your wedding photos will allow you to relive your day over and over again for years to come.
Your wedding day is going to be one of the most memorable days of your life, and it should reflect you as a couple in a way that is true to who you both are. Your day deserves to be documented tastefully, completely, and full of love and joy. Your love is so beautiful, and I aim to capture it in its purest form. Whether you plan to get married on top of a mountain, in the backyard of your childhood home, or anywhere in between, I hope that the images I provide will help you to recall the love and emotions that you will feel on your wedding day when you decide to look back on your images in fifty years!
frequently asked questions:
What is your style? I shoot preferably under natural light conditions in a manner that is mostly documentary. I want to capture your wedding day as it happens, with little posing and directing. You can expect me to be looking for moments that will tell a story. I want you to look back on your images and remember the emotions you felt as the moments were happening.
Do you work with a shot list? I've photographed enough weddings to know what images and moments need to be captured (the first time you see each other, your first kiss, the first dance, etc.), but I prefer to not have a physical list. It stifles creativity, and while most weddings follow a similar timeline, you two as a couple are unique and deserve to be documented as such.
How do we book you for our wedding day? To book, a $1000 deposit and signed contract is required for any package. For wedding packages, another payment of $1000 is due 6 month before event date, and remaining balance (plus all travel fees) is due one month before wedding date. For elopements, payment plans vary, but all remaining balances will be due one month before event date. Adjusted payment plans available. Please contact me for more information.
Can we print our photos as home and use on social media? Yes, of course! You just can't profit from or sell your images.
What is a "day after" session? Sometimes, couples want a little extra portrait time, but with the craziness of the day, this can sometimes be cut short. A "day after" session allows you and your new spouse to choose a location near your venue (within 25 miles) where you will dress back into your wedding attire and have some beautiful portraits done. This session can also be used as a "trash the dress" or rehearsal dinner session- as long as the session occurs within the same trip for your wedding. Please let me know if you would like to use this session for something other than more portraits the day after the wedding.
Why is the "Elopement Package" so much less than the Wedding Packages? An elopement is usually a small, intimate ceremony, rarely followed by a reception, where only you and a select number of friends and family are present. If you plan to run up into the forest, say your vows to each other, desire to get some killer bride + groom portraits, and are forgoing the traditional wedding, this is the package for you! This package only includes one photographer because of the nature of the event, but we are more than happy to travel as a pair and have both of us come. Just let us know!
I don't think these packages are what I'm looking for. Will you create a package tailored to me wedding day? Sure! Just let me know what you're thinking and we can make something what works perfectly to document your story.
